I was late to the flightsim game, waiting until SubLOGIC Flight Simulator II before getting hooked. My favourite part was pouring over the maps, I loved the navigation.
Thirty years later - and a small fortune on FIP's - and that love is back, the VOR and the ILS gauges with twirly knobs just bring it all alive.
