The "g-force" gauge measures the Acceleration (Gravitation Force) applied to the pilot. The gauge comes with two different ranges (-2 to +5 g's) and (-4 to +10 g's). The range scale can be toggled by pressing [S6] or selected in the gauge menu.

 

In addition to the analogue needle the "g" values are also show digitally on the left should you opt not to use the optional side buttons.

 

The gauge features two additional needles which record the maximum and minimum forces applied during any flight and can be reset to 1G by pressing the [S1] button.

Use the above or create your own. Edit variables in the data monitor and they will be saved in your profile.

 

In data monitor click [Add Data] and Search for "LED_COLOUR". Select all 4 colour variables and click [OK]. Click on values to edit.

 

If the blanking plate is used instead of the sidebar, then colour of the plate can now be changed by editing variable [FG_GLOBAL_BLANKING_COLOUR] in SPAD.neXt data monitor.

 

[S1] Reset Max and Min Needles:

Pressing [S1] sets the maximum positive and negative attained g's to 1 "g" after this point the needles will record the maximum positive and negative attained g-force since pressing the reset.

 

[S6] Change Gauge Scale:

Pressing [S6] will toggle between two gauge ranges -2 to +5 g's and -4 to +10 g's

 

[L Dial] Menu value down/up:

When Mini Menu is open use [L Dial] to change the value of the selected menu option.

 

[R Dial] Menu Function Previous/Next:

Used to activate the Mini Menu and scroll between the various menu options.

 

Version & Info:

Turn left dial clockwise to turn on and counter clockwise to turn off current version number and other useful links.

 

Side Buttons:

Turn left dial clockwise to turn on and counter clockwise to turn off side buttons.

 

G-Force Scale

Turn left dial to toggle between the two different dial scales

1) -2 to 5 g's

2) -4 to 10 g's

 

Reset Needles:

Turn the left dial in either direction to reset the min and max g-force attained needles back to 1g

 

Glass Reflection:

Turn left dial clockwise to turn on and counter clockwise to turn off optional glass reflections. This is a global setting so all gauges that have this function will turn on and off in sync.

 

Background Colour:

Left dial will change colour styles to the following

     0 = Grey

     1 = Black Dial Face

     2 = Darker Gauge & Dial Face

     3 = Black & No Gauge GFX

     4 = Grey - Original Design

     5 = Black Dial Face - Original Design

     6 = Darker Gauge & Dial Face - Original Design.

  

Brightness:

Turn left Dial clockwise to increase gauge brightness and counter clockwise to decrease gauge brightness. This will adjust the brightness of all gauges at the same time.
